Introduction: In 2017, there were 23 million people watching the championship game during March Madness and 5.6 million views during each game. Basketball is a very well know sport. Even though basketball is well know sport a lot of people don't know the history of basketball and how it was invented. Task: Make a powerpoint about the history of basketball and how it was created and about your favorite basketball coach. Process: Who invented basketball? Why was it created? What were the baskets made out of? Whats changed? Who is your favorite coach? Who do they coach for? What style of defense and offense do they play? Evaluation: Poor-1   Average-2   Good-3   Excellent-4   Answers all the questions and adds fun facts about  their coach.    Presents  in front  of the class. Clear presentation.      Puts pictures on every slide. No  grammar   errors.

Should we recognize teaching as a profession?

Should we recognize teaching as a profession? This is a big topic when it comes to teachers. Should they be considered a profession or is teaching just another job? The definition of profession is  requiring special knowledge and special education. I personally think that teaching is a profession. Reasons I think that teacher should be considered a profession is because  teachers help make and develop leaders and leadership as well as being an influence on students. Teachers also go to school and learn how to deal and handle different students and help them become successful. In most cases every student needs different levels of help on becoming successful and that takes a lot of responsibly and education. Teachers are always learning. And on top of that teachers do not get paid enough for what they do. Along with our profession we are demanded with high standards and pushed with higher standards everyday. Achievements

My name is Kortney Cunningham. I have attended Kansas Wesleyan now for almost two full semesters. I am a Junior at KWU and am currently on the volleyball team.  Some of my achievements I have accomplished while being here is winning a conference title in volleyball. I also made it on the Dean's Honor Roll list this past fall.
